1 mile "Turkey Trot" Run

Jacob 's school does an annual 1 mile Turkey Trot run for all the children and families to participate. I think this is really great to try and get kids more active. Jacob has been practicing at school to try and run the whole race. Unfortunately, he did not make it the whole way. He started off great. Off the finish line he went leaving me in his dust. I think about 150 yards I caught up with him and he was walking. I continued to pass him. I ran pushing the stroller with Hayden and Caleb. Running while pushing a stroller with an extra 65 lbs is quite a workout. Well, Hayden, Caleb and I made it to the Finish line and waited for Jacob to finally stroll in. It wasn't until the finish line was in sight that he started to run again.
The school had some big speakers outside playing some energetic music while we waited for the race to begin.It was funny to see Hayden out there dancing. He doesn't usually do it in public.

This was sooo cute!!! I couldn't get the boys to take a picture with the Turkey, though :(
