Day at Holland Park

It is finally a nice day to go exploring at a local park. Holland Park has a great playground area and paved paths so I can take the boys to ride their bikes. Today we were able to play at the play area and afterwards we walked thru the neighborhood to see if there were any homes for sale. I thought this would be a great area to find a house but guess what...there weren't many houses for sale. Duh! If I thought it was a great neighborhood...close to park and shopping...then everyone probably thinks so also. Anyways, here's some pics of the boys playing at the park.It was huge! I couldn't even get it all in one shot.Caleb loves to go down the slides head first.

Yeah for snacks!

I think he was crying because Jacob kept running away from him.

Caleb trying very hard to climb the chain ladder. He wasn't too successful.

Yes, Jacob is at the park with us. His school had early release today so he had the pleasure to enjoy a day at the park with us.

Hayden apparently doesn't like something or someone.

He's trying hard not to have to hold on to big brother's hand while crossing the wobbley bridge.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Yesterday we decided to take a road trip to Lancaster so we could visit with my mom. She received some bad news about her cancer progression. So what else could cheer her up but the grandsons she loves so much and misses so dear on Valentine's Day. A 3 hour drive to Lancaster is definitely a much better drive than the usual drive of 8 1/2 hours from AL. While visiting, Jacob allowed us to tie dental floss to his loose tooth and finally pull it out. Caleb trying to resist a kiss from Grandma.

Grandma loves her boys!
After visiting with my mom, we traveled alittle further south to pick up Myla and AJ so we could visit with Dustin's parents. Dustin's parents just bought a new home that gave me great opportunities to get some photos of Caleb in the leaves and with Daddy.

Love the puffer jacket!
Really, he's not posing...

...he just loves to be outside even if it is cold.

Just adorable!

This is Dustin junior for sure!

AJ is not much for posing for pictures.
Myla not so much either.

What a great big sis!
Jacob wishes Grandpa would let him drive the tracker.

Nice kitty! Surprisingly, he's recovered from the earlier attack from the cat.

Hayden is trying to convince Grandma to give him one of their dogs.
uh...no thanks!

So is this Caleb's new peepee dance?!

Mega Blocks

It has been so cold and I am trying to find ways to keep the boys entertained. They aren't used to be cooped up in the house for long periods of time. We most definitely miss the southern weather.

Yeah for the boys playing peacefully.
I don't think Caleb likes what Hayden is doing.

"I think this is nice place to have a seat"
So much for playing nice. But wait...
he is fine now! That was a 2 second recovery!
Mr. Toughman!
Vroom! Vroom! That's the only thing he knows how to say.
He thinks he is safe from Caleb in the chair.

Don't let those innocent blue eyes fool you.
He is not so innocent and Hayden wasn't so safe in that chair.

Hayden's materpiece!
